This site is a tribute to Dr Eric Tharratt King formerly of Albrighton, Shropshire, widower of Betty, died peacefully at home in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire on 4th March 2017 aged 94 years. After training at Guys Hospital, he spent 23 years in the Royal Air Force, serving in the UK, Pakistan and Australia and retiring as a Wing Commander. He worked for Shropshire Health Authority for 10 years and then enjoyed 34 years of his pension.
